Briony Barrett blog 1 introduction-main task.

The task for my main coursework is to come up with a music magazine and to develop my skills further on from my preliminary task of making a college magazine. I will focus on music that I like and I feel would apply to only a particular audience but might also attract others as it will have a lot of new music information. My plan is to base it around the magazine NME as I feel it attracts many people's views and opinions on new music. This genre of music will be mainly rock/alternative and indie but a mixture of all types and the charts of today. I will also include new artists upcoming in local areas for instance my friends who are in bands and have had a music video shown on a music channel and to also advertise MySpace as a way of communicating new music across to young people.
